Pregnancy The risk of use during all trimesters has been categorized as C. This means that there is a potential risk to the use of this treatment when pregnant. Breastfeeding There is no adequate information to determine the risks of using this treatment when breastfeeding. Some medications may pass into the milk of the mother and be transferred to the nursing infant. You should inform your doctor if you have any developing bone pain. This can be a sign that you have a bone infection that will need to be treated separately.
